RAF command markings WWII
In April 1941 the RAF introduced command and unit markings for its vehicles. these consisted of a letter identifying the RAF command and a number, separated by a slash, indicating the group or unit the vehicle belonged to. This marking appeared on the vehicle's front opposite the roundel.
A set of roundels, which identify RAF vehicles, is also provided.
