10-year anniversary markings. Hellenic Army Aviation 2nd Attack Helicopter Battalion
The Hellenic Army Aviation 2nd Attack Helicopter Battalion operates the AH-64DHA Apache Longbow attack helicopter. To mark its ten-year anniversary the battalion applied an anniversary badge to all its aircraft. This set should be used in conjunction with set LM 48004 or LM 72018 which contain all the other markings needed to finish an AH-64DHA Apache Longbow in 1/48 and 1/72 scale respectively. At least three aircraft (s/n 1022, 1024 and 1032) were also marked with a black-white chequered tail band. This marking was applied using self adhesive tape and does not seem to have lasted long on all aircraft.
