BRIXMIS vehicle plates
BRIXMIS (British Commanders'-in-Chief Mission to the Soviet Forces in Germany) existed from 1946 to maintain liaison between the Staff of the British and Soviet Commanders-in-Chief and their Military Governments in the respective Zones of occupation. The members of Brixmis used a variety of vehicles such as Opel Kapitän in the 1950s, followed by Opel Admiral and the Opel Senator the Range Rover and in the 1980s the Mercedes-Benz G-Class.
