Leopard 1A5 8th EAN Hellenic Army February 2018

The first ever tank in the Hellenic Army to receive an anniversary finish was a Leopard 1A5 belonging to the 8th Recce Bat. of the 8th Mechanized Division, in February 2018. to mark the 105 th anniversary of the liberation of the city of Ioannina. The tank was painted by a team consisting of Master sergeant P. Kavathas, members of the Ioannina Modellers' Society and the graphic artist George Santamouris and was displayed in Ioannina. The turret carried the insignia of the Armoured corps and the 8th Mech. Div. and a bull, which features in the divisional emblem. The side skirts displayed the Greek flag and the formations' title, while the flat storage box on the hull's left side carried the script "Bulls of the 8th Recce Bat." The vehicle's number plates were covered for the duration of the display.

This set of decals was produced with the full cooperation of the project's design team and faithfully reproduces the original markings. This set can be printed in any scale required.
