Hellenic Army Aviation CH-47DG, SD and CH-47D Chinook Helicopters
The Hellenic Army Aviation uses 9 CH-47DG and 7 CH-47SD Chinook heavy lift helicopters. In 2016 deliveries of the CH-47D begun.
The CH-47DG and CH-47SD differ as they have larger fuel tanks on the sides. The CH-47SD has an extended nose, housing a weather radar.
The CH-47D has smaller fuel tanks and no radar on the nose. It also differs from the other two types in minor details.
Markings for any of these aircraft in service can be printed to order, in any scale. CH-47DG serial numbers are ΕΣ901 to ΕΣ910 and CH-47SD serial numbers are ΕΣ911 to ΕΣ917. Serial numbers for the CH-47D started at ΕΣ921.
10-year anniversary markings. Hellenic Army Aviation 2nd Attack Helicopter Battalion
The Hellenic Army Aviation 2nd Attack Helicopter Battalion operates the AH-64DHA Apache Longbow attack helicopter. To mark its ten-year anniversary the battalion applied an anniversary badge to all its aircraft. This set should be used in conjunction with set LM 48004 or LM 72018 which contain all the other markings needed to finish an AH-64DHA Apache Longbow in 1/48 and 1/72 scale respectively. Hellenic Air Force C-130 Hercules
The Hellenic Air Force operates C-130H and C-130B Hercules transport aircraft. Originally finished in the SEA scheme, these aircraft are gradually being repainted in an overall grey finish.
The markings for any individual aircraft may be printed to order in any scale. Please let us know if you are interested in a particular aircraft.
The 130H first entered service with the HAF in 1975. Since then these aircraft have at times carried a variety of different mission markings. If you require such markings please let us know as many of these are available on order.
Hellenic Air Force T-41D Mescalero (current colour scheme)
The Τ-41D is the Hellenic Air Force's basic trainer. It has been in service since 1969. Initially these aircraft were in an overall light grey finish. Their current finish is light grey with orange Day-Glo panels in keeping with their training role. Markings for any particular aircraft in service may printed on request. There are small marking detail variations between the various aircraft.
Hellenic Air Force AS 332C1 Super Puma SAR
The Aerospatiale Super Puma helicopter is used in the SAR role by the Hellenic Air Force's 358 SAR Sqn. Finished in dark blue-grey and international orange it caries distinctive square national markings. These markings can be used in conjunction with many of the kit supplied warning markings.
Hellenic Air Force AS 332C1 Super Puma CSAR
The Aerospatiale Super Puma helicopter is used by the Hellenic Air Force's 384 Sqn. in the CSAR role. These aircraft are finished in light grey and blue camouflage with light grey undersides. SAR duties are the squadron's secondary and peace-time role. There are small differences in the markings between aircraft.
Guardia Costiera Agusta Bell AB 412
The Italian coast guard (Guardia Costiera) has in service 10 Agusta Bell AB 412 helicopters. Equipped for a variety of maritime missions these helicopters are finished in a particularly attractive colour scheme. Because of the high contrast between the helicopter's red and white areas, additional white backings are provided for the markings that are applied over red areas to avoid any "see through" effect on the white portion of the markings.
Hellenic Coast Guard AS365 N3 Aegean Dolphin
The Hellenic Coast Guard has 6 AS365 N3 Helicopters in service. Known as the Aegean Dolphin in Greek service the helicopters are finished in Light Grey (RAL 7047) and Blue (RAL 5012) scheme with serial numbers from HC-31 to HC-36. They are equipped for a variety of missions including, SAR and maritime surveillance. Any οf the six helicopters in service may be built in any scale by specifying the relevant serial number when ordering the decals.
